Lasers for Holography
Description
Lasermate Group, Inc. offers a wide selection lasers suitable for holography. Holography is divided into two processes: recording and reproduction. The interference fringes are generated on the holographic plate through superposition between reference light and reflected light during the recording. After holographic plate is processed in the darkroom, an image precisely the same as the original object will be reproduced from the interference pattern on the photosensitive sheet by means of diffraction. Compared to ordinary photography, holography not only records the amplitude of light field of the object, but also records the relative phase of the reflected light waves. Holography is widely used in holography microscopy, holographic security, data storage, deformation measurement, holographic interferometry, and many other applications.
Lasers that are suitable for holography application will have the following features:
- Single longitudinal mode lasers
- Long coherent length >50m
- Stabilized frequency output
- Common wavelengths: 473nm, 457nm, 532nm, 561nm, 589nm, 639nm, 660nm
