Description

The 10GDACPxMx compatible 10G SFP+ Passive Direct Attach Cables provide a cost-effective I/O solution to establish a 10-Gigabit link between SFP+ 10G ports of switches within racks and across adjacent racks. The DAC allows hardware manufacturers to achieve high port density, configurability and utilization at very low cost and reduced power budget. The high speed cable assemblies is compliant with SFP+ MSA standards, and meet and exceed Gigabit Ethernet and Fiber Channel industry standard requirements for performance and reliability. The passive SFP+ cable, which has no signal amplification designed in the cable assembly is a low cost alternative for short reach applications. Electronic Dispersion Compensation (EDC) is typically used on the host board designs when passive copper cable assemblies are utilized.
