The 10GDACAxMx is a 10G SFP+ to SFP+ Active Direct Attach Cable (DAC) designed for reliable, high-speed data transmission over distances up to 10 meters. Ideal for top-of-rack (ToR) and server-to-switch interconnects, it offers low latency, reduced power consumption, and a plug-and-play alternative to traditional optical transceivers.

Description

The 10GDACAxMx compatible 10G SFP+ Active Direct Attach Cables provide a cost-effective I/O solution to establish a 10-Gigabit link between SFP+ 10G ports of switches within racks and across adjacent racks. The DAC allows hardware manufacturers to achieve high port density, configurability and utilization at very low cost and reduced power budget. The high speed cable assemblies is compliant with SFP+ MSA standards, and meet and exceed Gigabit Ethernet and Fiber Channel industry standard requirements for performance and reliability. Active copper assemblies are typically used in host systems that do not employ EDC.
